Having sold over 5 million albums in the United States, Bad Bunny became the first non-English language act to be Spotify’s most streamed artist of the year in 2020. He is credited with helping Spanish-language music achieve mainstream popularity in the worldwide market. Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny has released five studio albums, one mixtape, one extended play, one compilation album, sixty-nine singles as a lead artist and thirty-two singles as a featured artist.

Bad Bunny spoke with Apple Music in early 2020 about his then-new album YHLQMDLG. His debut, X 100PRE, was instrumental in bringing Latin trap to a global audience without diluting its regional spirit, which was no small feat. Did he feel compelled to perform even better the second time around? “I’ll be completely honest with you,” he said. “No.” No? “On the contrary, I wanted it to stand out.” El Conejo Malo, like his collaborator J Balvin, has become a symbol of Latinx culture’s migration into the global mainstream, reshaping the look, sound, and feel of modern pop simply by following his own eccentric muse. YHLQMDLG: I do whatever gives me the most pleasure.

Bunny fell in love with a wide range of Latin music as a child growing up in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, in the mid-’90s (he was born Benito Martnez Ocasio in 1994), before discovering American hip-hop. His best songs not only blend tradition and futurism, Latin and global, but also chart new thematic territory for male Latinx artists, such as personal vulnerability (“Vete”) and sexual violence against women (“Yo Perreo Sola,” “Bellacoso”), establishing him as a role model and ally for LGBTQ communities and socially progressive values. Reflecting on his Super Bowl performance in 2020, the Apple Music Up Next artist said he didn’t realize the magnitude of what was happening until he was in rehearsals. The lights came on, and it clicked. “There it was,” he exclaims. “Like, we’re present. I still can’t believe it. “All the way to the top.” So, if you are a die heart fan of Bad Bunny Albums then check out here we have list of Bad Bunny albums in order of release so far.
